Former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron is now LSU's offensive coordinator.

Cameron was officially introduced Friday by LSU head coach Les Miles.

Cameron told reporters he likes the direction the college football game is going.

"I marvel at what's being done in college football. What a great game. I mean the game is getting better and better," Cameron said.

"It's a little interesting to watch the National Football League now really evolve more and more from the college game," he said.

Cameron comes to LSU after serving as the Baltimore Ravens' offensive coordinator from 2008-2012. He was fired late in the past regular season, missing out on the Ravens' Super Bowl run.

Last season, LSU ranked 11th in the 14-team Southeastern Conference in passing, averaging 200.5 yards per game.
