The Hornets scored their third victory in four games Monday afternoon as they defeated the Sacramento Kings, 114-105.

Anthony Davis sat out the second half after suffering an ankle sprain.  Davis, who scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the game, says he should be able to play Wednesday when the Hornets see action at San Antonio.

Ryan Anderson led the Hornets with 27 points. Greivis Vasquez contributed 19, Eric Gordon 16, and Al-Farouq Aminu 14.

The Hornets shot 53.1 percent in the first 2 quarters and matched a season high for first-half points.

DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 29 points and 13 rebounds.  Isaiah Thomas scored 20.

The Hornets will play 9 of their next 11 games on the road.

Davis told reporters after the game that he landed on his foot and rolled.  "Pretty sure I should be back," he said.  "It's fine."
