Anthony Davis is expected to return to action for the Hornets this week for the first time since he suffered a left ankle sprain November 17 in a game with Milwaukee.

The Hornets host the Washington Wizards Tuesday night, they face the Thunder in Oklahoma City on Wednesday and they play the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Arena on Friday.  It's unclear when he'll first be available.

Since he's been out, the Hornets have lost nine of eleven games.

Davis has been undergoing treatment for a "stress reaction" in his ankle.
