Kentucky star Anthony Davis, the player the Hornets are expected to make the #1 pick in the NBA Draft on June 28, has visited New Orleans to meet with team officials and have lunch with owner Tom Benson.

Davis didn't work out for the team, but he did pose for photos in a white No. 23 jersey that the power forward plans to wear next season.'

The 6'11' Davis helped Kentucky win the NCAA Championship at the Superdome in early April and he said it would be great to win another national title in New Orleans.

"If I was drafted here, it would be awesome," the 19-year-old told reporters.
